Today we went to Sagrada Familia, the still-being-built cathedral designed by Antonio Gaudi, Barcelona's great architectural mastermind.
But first, we got distracted by some food on the way.
Smoothies from a food market
A creme-filled churro!
Going up the lift to one of the towers.
Sagrada Familia is still being built off of the design Gaudi left behind! It's anticipated to be finished in 2015, and I hope to back sometime soon to see it all complete.

Next we headed to two of Gaudi's other pieces, La Pedrera and Casa Batllo.
La Pedrera.
Casa Batllo.
There's a thrift store called Humana right next to our hostel. I passed by it yesterday, and today I couldn't resist stopping in. Miriam and Teresa came along, and we had some fun with the clothes they had to offer:
They found me the most fantastic giraffe skirt.
Teresa's sleeves have flaaair.
Yes, we were definitely holding up a queue in the dressing room.
Turns out all of the clothes were as marked or 4,50€, which ever is lower, so we got some fantastic deals out of it too!
The only limiting factor was how much space our bags had for the rest of the trip.
(Don't worry, I didn't get either of the two items I was wearing in the photos... sorry, giraffe skirt.)
